will i be able to pay it with just my reg number, and without the penalty notice number?
Ive lost my parking ticket, and need to pay it tomorow,?
Should be able to as they should have a record of the reg number and the place and time the offence took place.

go to city hall, or the police station, they can look it up with your license plate i think
Reply:Every time I get a parking ticket I never pay it right away. After about 3 weeks I get a notice in the mail that says what the ticket said with another envelope for payment.
You%26#039;ll get the best answer form your courthouse. Call and ask them.
You can also forget about it and if they ever contact you play ignorant. It%26#039;s just a parking ticket. You could say never saw it. You certainly never signed it.
Good luck.
Reply:You can call the local office and make a phone payment. I got one a few months ago lost it and paid it way late and they didn%26#039;t charge me any additional fees. I think in la county they can be 60 days late.
Reply:You can either go to the courts with your plate number, you may also be able to find it online
Reply:Yep, they should have a copy...

Insurance???
im not able to drive yet, but when i turn 17 im going to be a guy with a car who needs insurance
i want to get a smart roadster, used
its a convertable and it only has two seats which means i cant take loads of mates which is obviously a risk
i live in a close in a town and the car would be in a seccured drive out back
obviously i wouldnt have any claims etc
how much would i expect to pay for insurance?
if you need other details just ask
Insurance???
A WHOLE BUNCH!!
Insurance???
My son pays about $1200 every 6 months for his car, but we live in the city.
Obviously you don%26#039;t have any claims.....yet.
If you%26#039;re asking a question like this you should provide as many details as you can.
What make is this roadster?
What year is it?
How much insurance and what coverages are you going to buy?
Do you have good enough grades to qualify for a good student discount?
Do you know that a convertible roadster will cost more to insure than a sedan? or even a small lorry?
You can call just about any insurance agent and ask. They%26#039;ll be really happy to help you.
Reply:it all depends on the car and the location where the car will be garaged. although your age is considered high risk your premiums might be high. however you will qualify for the student discounts with most auto insurance companies.

What percentage of people pass their driving test on the first attempt?
i did mine the first try but i know many who did it more than once
Reply:In the Uk its 43% atm
Reply:in the US its about 20-25% And that%26#039;s because they have almost like 1 or 2 trick questions and unless you memorize absolutely everything in the book, they%26#039;ll get you. I failed my first time but than practically wrote the entire book and passed the second time. Most people do.

Is this correct? I heard you had 6 mo's to renew an expired Dr. Lic.?
um, don%26#039;t you have to renew a drivers license right away or you can%26#039;t drive since the license is expired and not current, right?
Is this correct? I heard you had 6 mo%26#039;s to renew an expired Dr. Lic.?
depends on what state you live in. usually you have to take a written test over again and some states require a road test
Is this correct? I heard you had 6 mo%26#039;s to renew an expired Dr. Lic.?
NO, not if you plan on driving. If you plan on driving you better have it legit or your get a nice huge ticket.
Reply:check with your motor vehicle bureau for that. i have no idea.
Reply:Rules vary by jurisdiction. Some states you can renew if they are expired past a year, others you can%26#039;t.
Reply:If you heard something like this it might be that you can renew your license within 6 months of it expiring, before it expires.
After it expires you don%26#039;t have a license to renew.

I don%26#039;t want to wait, I want to be on the road driving!! And what should I expect on the test if I take it?
Driver%26#039;s permit??
I no that in California you have to be 16 years to get ure permit and have to have ure Drivers Education pink slip and just read the drivers hand book and you will be ok took me 3 times
Driver%26#039;s permit??
Whether or not you%26#039;re in school has nothing to do with getting a drivers license.
You can take the test anytime after you turn 15 1/2.
There are two practice tests and a flash tutorial-test here:

Is this allowed with auto insurance?
If my uncle bought me a car, and the car and registration is under his name, can the insurance be under just mine or does it have to be under both?
Is this allowed with auto insurance?
If he is the registered owner and the one under the insurance just make sure that on the insurance policy that you are listed as an additional driver or else if you get in a wreck he will be held liable so just add ure self in the additional driver section
Is this allowed with auto insurance?
This is called %26quot;insurable interest%26quot;. The owner of the car MUST be named on the policy. So you both need to be on the policy.
Reply:it will have to be under him but you can be listed as a driver.
Reply:Nate W is wrong. There is no law, that says in order to insure a vehicle, that the vehicle has to be registered to to the person insuring the vehicle. I have been insuring and paying for insurance for vehicles, registered to my Bro-in-law and driven by me and my wife for 25 years
