Depends on the rules for your country, or state if you are in the US, some only require you hold the permit for 6 months. No one can answer because you neglected to say where you are.
Reply:i never heard of having to wait a year i know you have to at least complete a certin amount of driving hours since your under 18. In my state it%26#039;s 6 weeks not a year, but i think all states are different. Who told you that your parents? Cause if they did than maybe they want you to wait.
