I might have a old warrant in NM from years ago and am wondering if Texas checks that stuff when you go and ID

I am sure they would have to, how else do they catch all the criminals that come out of hiding in other states?

You should probably find out and just get it over with. Good luck.

They surely will check all state records. You will not be able to get you driver license or ID if you have a warrant. If you have the money they let you pay it, but if you go up there and don%26#039;t have the money for the warrant they will call NM to see if they will come %26amp; pic you up %26amp; take you back to NM . Just be smart about it.

I%26#039;m sorry, I don%26#039;t understand how somebody thinks they %26quot;might%26quot; have a warrant. Either you ignored a charge, so there is a warrant, or you didn%26#039;t ignore a charge.
Reply:The best thing you can do, is find and address, telephone number of the County/City/Township where you %26quot;might%26quot; have a warrant and CALL the clerk. Most old warrants and charges are easy to negotiate out of State, if anything so they can clear some things off their active records. If they request something in writing, write the letter and state your case, apologize for not acting sooner, show respect, and ask to resolve the matter.

In this day and age, it will catch up with you.
