Insurance rate increse without any accident or ticket.?

I have Farmers insurance for about 3 years. No tickets, no accidents so far. Every time I get the invoice it%26#039;s about $20-25 higher than the one before (as I said, no tickets, no accidents). I can%26#039;t tell I like it. I understand that the rates can go up but all the time (even it%26#039;s not that significant)?! I was thinking about switching to the different company, but maybe they all do that?
Insurance rate increse without any accident or ticket.?
They do not all do that.
Insurance rate increse without any accident or ticket.?
The increase you mention is probably just due to increases in the cost of everything (car parts, medical, labor). You don%26#039;t mention the percentage increase, so it%26#039;s hard to tell.
Reply:time to look at your FICA insurance companies will use this not as a reason (they don%26#039;t need one) I put up with this for 2 years and then changed companies. Loyalty is not rewarded in the auto ins. game unless you know where your broker lives........
Reply:It%26#039;s not always like that, Farmers is one of the highest insurance companies around...just like State Farm.

Insurance goes up in different areas due to crime. If your community (zip code) has a high rate, your insurance will be affected.
Reply:I have state farm, and my rates have NEVER increased in the 3 years I have been insured with them, well except for when I moved to a new state. They actually have decreased from time to time.

Some reasons insurance goes up is because of things getting more expensive. If you hit a new car now and total it, it will cost more to replace than a few years ago. Things like that. Another reason is because there have been statistically more accidents in your state compared to last year. They raise the rates then to make up for having to pay out more money. You should talk to people in your area about this to see if the same thing happens to them. If it doesn%26#039;t, then switch companies.

last year, state farm sent me a rebate check because there were statistically less accidents in my area, and they passed the savings on to the customers. It was like 35 bucks. my rates also dropped on my next renewal period.

Oh, and to the person above that said state farm was one of the highest/most expensive insurance companies.... they were the cheapest for me, almost half the cost for the same policy as geico and progressive, along with countless other companies i received quotes from.
Reply:Farmers Insurance has some of the highest rates in insurance yet it is the company is rated the Worst. Switch companies before you have to file a claim!!!
Reply:They all do it. When you get an increase, they should tell you why it is being increased. If they don%26#039;t, ask them !
Reply:yeah all i can say is keep shopping around...
