I am Canadian purchasing a vehicle in a private deal in New York. I know all the export / import info but where I stumble is as follows.
What type of permit do I need to drive the vehicle from NewYork to Canada. The title will be signed over when I get there and I am not a new york resident. When I contacted DMV they were stumped and confused the **** out of me.
Does anyone really know?
